摘要: A modified classical beam theory solution is developed for the end notched flexure (ENF) specimen, one of most widely used mode II delamination tests fibre reinforced composite materials. The effect crack tip deformation analyzed by assuming that a region certain length close to rests on an elastic shear spring foundation. mathematical procedure present analysis simple and clear, resulting solutions compliance strain energy release rate ENF specimen are highly accurate. Excellent agreement obtained over wide range material geometrical properties specimens when current results compared with finite element other analytical analyses include in their solutions. success indicates important factor must be considered calculating relationship between GII load specimen.
