A survey of frontal lobe dementia in a psychogeriatric day unit population

摘要: Nine (12%) of 78 consecutive first admissions to psychogeriatric day units fulfilled an operational definition for dementia frontal lobe type (DFT). These cases showed many the behavioural, neuropsychological and neurophysiological features DFT reported in presenile subjects. They accounted 14% with organic brain syndromes 37% those showing marked apathy or disinhibition. findings support hypothesis that is a common cause referral services significant source behavioural disturbances such settings.
