摘要: The current study proposed to determine whether adolescent emotion regulation is predictive of the amount and type crime committed by juvenile offenders. Despite evidence in literature linking behaviour problems aggression across lifespan, there no prior longitudinal research examining role on recidivism, nor data regarding how relates occurrence specific types crimes. Our primary hypothesis was that poor would positively significantly predict re-offending among adolescents. We tested our within a binary logistic framework utilizing Pathways Desistance data. Exploratory bivariate analyses were conducted service future generation. Though findings did not indicate statistically significant relation between reoffending, exploratory suggest some may be more linked than others. In sum, present aimed examine hypothesized delinquency identifying individual factor dysregulated have played role.
