摘要: Cellular DNA content distributions of propidium-iodide-stained bone marrow blasts were determined by flow cytometry (FCM) for 225 untreated children with acute leukemia and correlated cell phenotype karyotype. Aneuploidy the primary malignant stem line was detected in 54 cases (24%): 51 hyperdiploid 3 hypodiploid. A second approximately twice recognized FCM 28 (23 ALL, 5 ANLL) may be an important source heterogeneity. The degree abnormality highly (r = 0.98) number whole chromosome gains or losses detectable more frequent lymphoblastic (ALL) (52 173, 30.1%) than nonlymphoblastic (2 52, 3.8%) (p less 0.001). In ALL group, aneuploidy significantly surface expression common antigen: 46 127 antigen-positive aneuploid compared to 6 antigen-negative 0.003). Only 2 21 T-cell without antigen had aneuploidy, which group 0.02). median percentage cells S-phase greater B-cell erythrocyte rosette-positive other phenotypic subgroups. We conclude that are state differentiation. biologic basis correlation is not established, but linked process transformation.
