摘要: Abstract Discriminant function analysis is an invaluable statistical tool for the taxonomic identification of hybrids between various extant species Canis in eastern United States. This technique has recently been applied to canid skulls from several Wyoming archaeological sites. Analysis indicates most remains, originally identified as wolf ( lupus ), be wolf/dog exhibiting constant and continual backbreeding local populations. The spatial temporal extent form discussed.
