Ontology to represent similarity relations between public web services

摘要: Currently Internet is largely populated with Web services offered by different providers and published in various repositories. However, public available still suffer from problems that have been widely discussed, such as the lack of functional semantics. This semantics makes very difficult automatic discovery invocation services, even when system integrator can obtain a copy WSDL file. paper describes an ontological approach for discovering similarity relations between services. The objective this work to extract relevant data coded into service descriptions, calculate measures them, represent discovered similarities form, execute inference. Experimental results show overall process towards automation based on ontology population structural feasible.
