摘要: Actinomonas pusilla, a heterotrophic member of the Pedinellales (Chrysophyceae), was studied by light and electron microscopy. The cells are about 7 µm in diameter usually swim around rapidly large arcs, although they occasionally sessile. possess one emergent flagellum with tripartite hairs. Internally, is supported cross-banded paraxial rod. central pair microtubules shown to be twisted 360° counterclockwise (viewed from outside) 8 µm, which corresponds wavelength beating flagellum.
