Relationship between viscosity and molecular weight of ethyl cellulose

摘要: Six fractions of ethyl cellulose have been obtained. Their number-average molecular weights determined osmotically and limiting viscosity numbers at 25° obtained using five solvents. Values K α in the expression [η] = KMa are given. Those for do not vary much with solvent simply related to power. Up a weight about 80,000, relationship between Mn seems be linear values given constant Km Staudinger KmM.
