摘要: Streptococci are a diverse group of Gram-positive microorganisms sharing common virulence traits and similar strategies to escape the oral niche establish an infection in other parts host organism. Invasive with streptococci is "a perfect storm" that requires concerted action multiple biotic abiotic factors. Our understanding streptococcal pathogenicity infectivity should probably be less mechanistic driven not only by identification novel The observed diversity genus, including range mechanisms, most likely result interspecies interactions, massive horizontal gene transfer between within shared niche, recombination events, selection specialized clones, modification regulatory circuits. Selective pressure bacterial communities driving force for shaping genome. Global events adaptation interactions steer research interests towards attempts define interactome on transcriptional level signal cross-feeding co-expression co-regulation genes.
