摘要: A one-pot preparation of branched gold nanoparticles (NPs) in aqueous solution using acetanilide as both a reducing and shape-directing agent has been achieved. The structure, morphology optical properties the NPs can be tuned by controlling concentration acetanilide. In contrast to reported protocols, high quality stable produced exclusively without any sophisticated purification techniques. More interestingly, thus obtained are predominantly enriched with uniform facet {111}, confirmed HRTEM XRD methods. When compared NPs, NP catalysts exhibited two three orders magnitude higher activity for reduction 4-nitrophenol into 4-aminophenol. Furthermore, average turnover frequency was found 19 molecules per min, which is significantly than that spherical other catalyst systems.
