Investigations on functional traits in Simmental 2. Incidence of diseases in German Simmental cows

摘要: Abstract In order to get information on disease incidences in German Simmental, health data were collected from 104 Simmental farms Upper Bavaria 1987 1990. Generalised linear models with complementary log-log link-function and binomial errors used for statistical analysis, taking censoring into account. Age was revealed be of major impact incidence rates. Age-specific risks ten different diseases are derived later use economic modelling as well average per calving interval cow year. When averaged over all age classes, year highest clinical mastitis (14.6%), retained placenta (8%), metritis (10.8%) various ovulatory disorders (25.5%). Incidences claw (7.4%) other leg problems (5%) similar the milk fever (6.7%).
