摘要: Although ionizing radiation (IR) has provided considerable improvements in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), subsets of patients, radioresistance is still a major problem the treatment. In this study, we demonstrated that irradiation induced MET overexpression and activation, aberrant signal mediated by hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) radioresistance. We also found inhibitor PHA-665752 effectively suppressed HGF cell proliferation NPC cells. Further investigation indicated phosphorylation Akt, ERK1/2, STAT3 proteins dose-dependent manner. Our data combination IR with inhibitor, such as PHA-665752, might be promising therapeutic strategy for NPC.
