摘要: We have excited Na atoms of two counterrunning thermal beams by means linearly polarized laser light and investigated associative ionization processes. To this end we measured the total signal as a function angle θ between polarization relative collision velocity. Velocities were selected exploiting Doppler effect. found an increasing dependence at velocities. At all velocities preparation partners in |Mj| = 1/2 sublevel 2P3/2 state is most efficient producing ionization.
