Family presence during resuscitation in paediatric and neonatal cardiac arrest: A systematic review

摘要: Abstract Context Parent/family presence at pediatric resuscitations has been slow to become consistent practice in hospital settings and not universally implemented. A systematic review of the literature on family during neonatal resuscitation previously conducted. Objective To conduct a published evidence related resuscitation. Data sources Six major bibliographic databases was undertaken with defined search terms including up June 14, 2020. Study selection 3200 titles were retrieved initial search; 36 ultimately included for review. extraction double extracted independently by two reviewers confirmed team. All eligible studies either survey or interview-based as such we turned narrative methodology. Results The authors identified key sets findings: first, parents/family members want be offered option present their child’s Secondly, health care provider attitudes varied widely (ranging from 15% >85%), however, support increased previous experience level seniority. Limitations English language only; lack randomized control trials; quality publications. Conclusions Parents wish opportunity but opinions perspectives vary greatly among providers. This topic urgently needs high quality, comparative research measure actual impact patient, staff outcomes. PROSPERO registration number CRD42020140363.
