摘要: Abstract The excimer/monomer ratio of emission intensities (IE/IM) and the enhancement 0-0 vibronic transition in fluorescence spectra pyrene (PY) 16-(1-pyrenyl)hexadecanoic acid (C16PY) were used to investigate localization PY bilayers small unilamellar vesicles constituted phosphatidylcholine (SUV-PC). First, from comparison characteristics water with those incorporated into SUV-PC membranes, we concluded that probe is preferentially lipid phase not bulk aqueous phase. In addition, found that, contrary what happens pyrenyl moiety C16PY location varies its relative concentration membrane space. critical was observed be around 1.0 mol% PY. At concentrations below this value, located hydrocarbon core bilayers. Above mol%, molecules reside neighbourhood glyceryl region PC vesicles.
