Effects of temperature, pressure, and density on the chromatographic behavior of supercritical carbon dioxide

摘要: Abstract The effects of the physical factors (temperature, pressure, density, and free volume) on chromatographic parameters (capacity ratio, selectivity, resolution) are investigated for supercritical fluid chromatography, using carbon dioxide as mobile phase, unbonded silica gel stationary phase in a packed column, mixture polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons analyte. results presented three-dimensional graphs where color is used to exhibit fourth variable. Two axes plots represented whereas third axis represent parameters. By selecting temperature one variables pressure or density volume other (which together fully characterize state phase), dependence two these can be shown interrelation between illustrated. interrelations being more varies chromatography then gas liquid such multidimensional graph particular value providing an overview.
