摘要: A low‐β collisionless plasma cylinder confined in a uniform magnetic field is considered. The well‐known flute instabilities occur due to rotation or radial gravity which simulates line curvature. effects of finite Larmor radius and nonuniform are included deriving proper set hydromagnetic equations variational principles for determining stability. In most cases these merely sufficient but variety may be both necessary
