摘要: Abstract The effects of Yb addition on the phase evolution and superconducting properties (Bi,Pb)-2212 superconductor prepared by solid state synthesis in polycrystalline form were studied. content samples was varied ( x = 0–0.5) a general stoichiometry Bi 1.7 Pb 0.4 Sr 2.0 Ca 1.1 Cu 2.1 O y . Phase analysis XRD, microstructural examination SEM, measurements density done to evaluate relative performance samples. A containing secondary could be distinguished from XRD Yb > 0.3 stoichiometric level. Microstructural showed clear distinct morphological variation with round edged grains observed microstructure added critical current J C ) transition temperature T all found higher than that pure sample. maximum C-onset 94.5 K 688 A/cm 2 has been for sample Yb = 0.2 Above this level began reduce, may due formation.
