摘要: An apparatus and method is described that determines the temperature distribution of an environment proximate a cable optical fibers. No additional transducers are required to be inserted within presence electrical magnetic fields does not adversely affect operation or results measurement. The characteristic materials which enables them generate spontaneous thermal radiation as function their used map temperatures along cable. A plurality fibers, each having measurably distinct absorption constant, in order sufficient number known parameters enable zones determined length Measurement accuracy can enhanced by use heat sources choice zone dimensioning.
