摘要: We demonstrate adsorption and depolymerization of long-chain β-glu strands derived from cellulose, within the microporous confines a zeolite-templated carbon (ZTC) material. The ZTC adsorbs that have radius gyration several-fold larger than micropore diameter do so rapidly (less 2 min) in adsorbed coverages up to 80% mass. Principles supramolecular chemistry predict such occurs inside based on its size as host being nearly ideal for glucan guest. A comparative study partially etched materials nitrogen physisorption at −196 °C indeed demonstrates occur internal micropores rather external surface. Such under confinement is expected place significant mechanical strain strand, this can be principle relieved by via hydrolysis. This hypothesis motivated us investigate ads...
