摘要: A theoretical analysis of plane strain incompressible velocity fields is first carried out. Two types local are distinguished according to the sign det(L), where L gradient tensor, whereas det(L) =0 associated with simple shear. geometrical interpretation used illustrate various decompositions L. Finally, it suggested that condition det(L)=0 can be predict occurrence shear bands during metal forming processes.
