A sustainability evaluation framework for Science and Technology Institutes: an international comparative analysis

摘要: Abstract The concerns with the spread of sustainable practices in Higher Education Institutions are growing considerably due to reach these institutions society and local communities. This research develops applies a framework that takes into account social, economic environmental evaluate what extent Science Technology Institutes contributing practices. It combines measurement system from Global Reporting Initiative, Public Administration Environmental Agenda International Sustainable Campus Network guidelines. therefore highlights as form participatory management can be replicated beyond campuses. From questionnaire using Sustainability Evaluation Framework applied Institutes, results show international selected (Massachusetts Institute Swiss Federal Zurich) characterized “excellent”, three Brazilian institutions' performances by same metric evaluated “regular”.
