摘要: Total glycosphingolipids (glucosylceramides) were isolated from both pig (ear) and human (leg) epidermis each separated into 4 distinct fractions of increasing polarity by silicic acid chromatography. Similarly, separate ceramide obtained the total free ceramides stratum corneum. All contained large proportions (50% to 80% fatty acids) C 24 30 acids. The chromatographically more polar 2-hydroxy acids in most these accounted for 49% Major bases sphingenine, sphinganine, hexadeca-, heptadeca- eicosa-sphingenine 2 also hydroxysphinganine. Human similar base composition with nonadecasphin-genine an additional major component. least glucosylceramide was a 1-(3'-O-acyl)-β-glucosylceramide. Linoleic esterified glucose. other whose compositions distributions those corneum which contain high long chain (>C 20 ) saturated melting points (>75°) appear well-suited withstand wide changes temperature, ultraviolet radiation atmospheric oxidation that may occur within environment skin surface and, absence phospholipids, are sufficiently amphipathic stabilize lipid phase plasma membranes cell.
