摘要: Thermal aging treatments under both atmosphere and vacuum environments at temperatures of 100°C to 300°C for durations from 2 8 h have been made on Kevlar-29 yarns. The effects thermal tensile strength, strain the Young's modulus single fibre evaluated. It was established that strength decreased with increase in treatment temperature. For constant temperature, heating duration did not appear any effect strain. also found affected by heat conditions described above. Heat strength.
