摘要: Abstract We report a catalytic process to convert cellulose into liquid hydrocarbon fuels (diesel and gasoline), using cascade strategy achieve the progressive removal of oxygen from biomass, allowing control reactivity facilitating separation products. The starts with deconstruction solid in an aqueous solution sulfuric acid yielding equi-molar mixture levulinic formic acid. this can then be used (upon decomposition H2 CO2) reduce γ-valerolactone (GVL) over Ru/C catalyst. formation GVL allows strategies for recycling step. This product, residual amounts sulfur, upgraded 5-nonanone high yields (90%) single reactor by dual catalyst bed Pd/Nb2O5 plus ceria-zirconia. product is hydrophobic separates spontaneously water, yet possesses functional group that structure molecular weight fuel components formed downstream upgrading treatments.
