摘要: The question raised in the title of this progress report is answered point for with an emphatic “yes”: Ranging from metallic gold, via clusters gold atoms low valence states, compounds AuI, AuII, AuIII, and AuV, organogold derivatives, ylide carbene complexes, to catalytic activity it embraces a long-neglected area chemistry holding promise many discovery.
