摘要: The effects of trophic modes autotrophy, heterotrophy, and mixotrophy on growth, photosynthetic activity, lipid content, fatty acids (FA) profile were investigated for the thermophilic Chlorophyta strain, Graesiella sp., isolated from a mats community colonizing geothermal springs in north Tunisia. Mixotrophic mode enhanced significantly both biomass productivity content compared to autotrophic heterotrophic cultures. Indeed, highest 0.17 gdw L−1 day−1 was obtained mixotrophic cultures while it 0.12 did not exceed 0.05 ones. Furthermore, maximum (0.068 gL day−1) observed during stationary phase, more than five nine fold higher that High production photoheterotrophic conditions since correlated concomitantly with increase glucose uptake decrease maximal quantum yield PSII. FA analysis revealed predominance unsaturated (UFA) 16:1, 18:1n9, 18:2n6, 18:3n3, which represented 55 % total FA. variation respect growth phases. ratio UFA SFA (saturated FA) reached its level (3.5) exponential phase mainly due proportion 16:1.The phases particularly marked by substantial 18 polyunsaturated carbon chains. In first culture, 18:2n6 exceeded 14 dw, lipids produced second rich representing 3.5 dw.
