摘要: The standard drug Stelazine (STEL), at a dose of 50 mg/day, exhibited therapeutic activity significantly different from placebo (PL) on several variables, most notably BPRS, attesting to the sensitivity experiment. On other hand, investigational drug, loxapine (LOX), in doses 100 mg/day for four weeks, could be differentiated PL as treatment described population only one variable (NGI-Imp.) and item BPRS. positive trends were noted, but differences did not attain critical values necessary statistical significance P smaller than 0.05. One might speculate that relatively short duration this study account difference between these disappointing results more gratifying previous chronic long-term institutionalized schizophrenics with same oral dose.
