摘要: The standard voltage source inverter (VSI), widely used in electric vehicle/hybrid vehicle (EV/HEV) traction drives, requires a bulky dc bus capacitor, typically made of polypropylene films, to absorb the large ripple currents generated by pulse width modulated switching actions and prevent them from damaging shortening battery's life. capacitor presents significant barrier meeting U.S. DRIVE targets for cost, volume, weight inverters. Currently contributes up 20% cost an 30% inverter's volume. become even more problematic film capacitors (the technology choice EVs/HEVs) high temperature environments as their current handling capability decreases rapidly with rising temperatures. There is thus urgent need reduce currents. This paper segmented drive system that can significantly decrease size capacitor.
