摘要: Summary Background  Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS) is characterized by a severe multiorgan reaction that usually appears after 3–6-week exposure to certain drugs, including anticonvulsants. There are some reports showing serum IgG levels often decrease at the early stage of DIHS. Reactivation human herpesvirus (HHV)-6 has been reported in patients with DIHS, and other DIHS showed reactivation cytomegalovirus (CMV) or Epstein–Barr virus (EBV). Objectives  To determine whether HHV-6, HHV-7, CMV and/or EBV occurs DIHS. Methods  Titres IgM antibodies HHV-6 HHV-7 were determined using an indirect immunofluorescence antibody assay on admission various times admission. Anti-CMV titres anti-EBV capsid antigen IgG, IgA, IgM, nuclear enzyme immunoassay. Polymerase chain (PCR) procedures for DNAs performed samples. Results  increased onset seven, six, seven two patients, respectively. elevated simultaneously 21–38 days onset. 10–21 days elevation titres. PCR became positive five, detected 21–35 days onset, DNA was detection DNAs. Conclusions  The present study suggests addition reactivation, may also occur following drug eruption
