摘要: Two countries in South Asia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, have embarked upon innovative measures for restructuring their institutional framework water resources management. Both of these a colonial heritage. Most current arrangements management, particularly the irrigation sub-sector, are greatly influenced by laws administrative procedures introduced during British period. In wake massive investment programmes sponsored international development aid after independence, each two has collaborated with donor agencies designing new packages.
