摘要: Alloyed layers on pure magnesium were created by means of the heating sample covered with Al+Zn powders mixture containing 20 wt.% Zn and 40 in vacuum furnace. The microstructure related composition alloyed investigated using optical microscopy scanning electron equipped an energy dispersive X-ray system (EDS). results revealed that microstructure, thickness microhardness obtained depended content powder mixture. composed Mg-Al-Zn intermetallic phases Mg-based solid solution Al Zn. multi-phase layer was diusion bonded substrate. fabricated heat treatment contact a twice as high compared to hardness value much higher than
