摘要: Land planners, conservationists and natural resource managers are inherently optimists, yet few would deny that the land continues to degrade at an alarming rate. Human population growth curves all imply continued or accelerated degradation in present decade subsequent decades (Ehrlich, 1988; Worldwatch Institute, 1992).
