Factors predicting attachment patterns in infants of adolescent mothers

摘要: The aim of the current study was to examine predictors mother-infant attachment relationship in adolescent dyads. Seven factors were investigated: Maternal adult style, childhood maltreatment history, depression, parenting stress and sensitivity; infant temperament difficulty; social support. sample consisted 138 Predictive measured during pregnancy, at 4 10 months, whereas evaluated 15 months using Strange Situation procedure. Results indicated that secure infants' mothers expressed less more satisfaction with support as compared avoidant or resistant infants. Moreover, these completed years schooling than avoidant, disorganised Contrary our expectations, it found neither maternal sensitivity, nor style contributed prediction patterns. Furthermore, attachments not predicted by severe constellations risk factors. These findings are discussed relation particular ecology mothers. (author abstract)
