MTG* and Gray Box

摘要: In this paper we introduce the MTG* model - a successor to MultiThread Graph (MTG) that intends expose task level parallelism and dynamic non-deterministic behavior in advanced multimedia telecom applications. After informal introduction of some core concepts, focus on constructs represent such applications, based new concept an thread frame. Extensions arrive at Gray-Box are introduced as way manage large complex designs with concurrent behavior, without loosing global view system behavior. We briefly touch upon how enables modern design methodologies take into account characteristics, while trying make power consumption efficient implementation application embedded multi-processor hardware platform.
