摘要: Background The AngioVac (AngioDynamics, Latham, NY) device utilizes a venovenous bypass circuit for percutaneous venous thrombectomy and has been applied in the setting of iliocaval thrombosis as well right heart thrombus pulmonary emboli. We describe our experience with 12 patients variety indications goal identifying factors correlating successful thrombectomy. Methods From August 2013 to June 2015, underwent at institution. Preoperative, intraoperative, postoperative data were retrospectively analyzed. Results Indications included 33% (4), 42% (5), embolus 25% (3). experienced 58% complete success rate. Partial was achieved 17%, no extracted 25%. Iliocaval thrombi most amenable 100% (4/4) 60% (3/5) rates, respectively. Pulmonary least partial rate (1/3) 67% failure (2/3). Conclusion devices allow whom medical therapy fails or those surgical intervention is considered high risk. emboli are less amenable, likely due limited steeribility device. Larger studies needed make more definitive conclusions, newer iterations will improved outcomes.
