摘要: Conducting population-based serosurveillance for severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) will estimate and monitor the trend of infection in adult general population, determine socio-demographic risk factors delineate geographical spread infection. For this purpose, a serial cross-sectional survey would be conducted with sample size 24,000 distributed equally across four strata districts categorized on basis incidence reported cases COVID-19. Sixty included survey. Simultaneously, done 10 high-burden hotspot cities. ELISA-based antibody tests used. Data collection using mobile-based application. Prevalence from group each pooled to population prevalence COVID-19 infection, similarly cities, after adjusting demographic characteristics test performance. The total number cities adjusted seroprevalence expected infected individuals area. Such serosurveys repeated at regular intervals can also guide containment measures respective areas. State-specific context disease burden, priorities resources should use multifarious surveillance options current epidemic.
