摘要: This paper presents optimal transmission systems reinforcements in the existing lines considering (n-1) criterion for outages. The proposed reinforcement minimizes total investments costs and ensures a viable operation of system under contingencies. formulation includes, an Optimal Active Power Flow (OAPF), relationship between inductive susceptance line capacity. approach is solved two steps using Benders decomposition to reduce problem dimension, one step produces Security Constraints (SC) other allocates these SC. IEEE 14 bus 118 test are used show main concepts handled this paper.
