摘要: A generalized framework is presented which employs a demographic perspectivec (population vital rates, measures of population performance) infaunal patch dynamics in order to understand population- and community-level successional processes soft-sediment habitats. The model emphasizes the importance responses component species following disturbance how they vary as function state within each patch. These characteristics provide currency for assessing effects on overall given habitat. Simple simulations indicate seasonality affecting response relative contributions adult larval colonization dynamics. Further development this presently constrained by general lack field data necessary evaluate demography organisms.
