摘要: Introduction: Platelet transfusions are often used when thrombocytopenic patients facing a central venous catheter (CVC) insertion, but their use has been up to debate. Point-of-care devices such as thromboelastometry (ROTEM) and platelet aggregometry (Multiplate) better reflect in vivo haemostasis than routine coagulation tests. Aim of the study was investigate effects administered before CVC using ROTEM Multiplate. Materials methods: Informed signed consent attained from all patients. Patients with count < 50 ∙ 109/L received transfusion insertion (transfusion group, n=14). The patients' blood analysed point-of-care tests (ROTEM, Multiplate) well one four hours after transfusion. A reference group non- (≥ 109/L) scheduled for also (n=32). Clinical data age units number were recorded. Results: clot firmness parameter, Extem MCF increased transfusion, sustained response hours. increments significantly higher women two units. Multiplate parameters did not reach significance. adenosine diphosphate-agonised assay indicated severe dysfunction values lower women . Conclusion: In haematological malignancies thrombocytopenia, can be monitor effect prophylactic strategies involving should tested larger study. clinical significance very low severely needs verified flow cytometry.
