摘要: A gastric retention formulation (GRF) made of naturally occurring carbohydrate polymers and containing riboflavin was tested in vitro for swelling dissolution characteristics as well fasting dogs retention. The bioavailability riboflavin, a drug with limited absorption site the upper small intestine, from GRF studied fasted healthy humans compared to an immediate release formulation. It found that when is dried immersed juice it swells rapidly releases its content zero-order fashion period 24 h. In vivo studies showed rectangular shaped stayed stomach more than 9 h, then disintegrated reached colon Endoscopic hydrates back about 75% original size 30 min. These results correlated results. Pharmacokinetic parameters determined urinary excretion data six human subjects under conditions depended on GRF. biostudy indicated large triple measured after administration Deconvolved input functions suggest 15
