摘要: Many aspects of reproductive physiology are subject to regulation by social interactions. These include changes in neural and physiological substrates reproduction. How can behavior produce such changes? In experiments reported here, we manipulated the settings teleost fish measured effect (1) on stress response as reflected cortisol production, (2) potential production signaling peptide, gonadotropin-releasing hormone, (3) function gonad size. Our results reveal that level hormone depends critically both status an individual stability its situation. Moreover, capacity these same variables. show encounters within particular contexts have a profound levels well competence. Social may lead state through integration time. Thus, information available from pathway provide socially relevant signals change.
