摘要: The first surgeon to begin think about and experiment with intramedullary fixation was Nicholas Senn in 1893. In 1937, the brothers Rush began use long thin flexible steel wires stabilize bone fractures. method continued Vienna as Ender school of fracture fixation. Robert Danis making nails 1938 used short implants for various Kuntscher instituted three important advances which were insertion from an entrance point at a distance site, implant sufficient caliber allow mechanical function fractured limb, placement medullary full length marrow canal. Kuntscher’s nailing procedure human 1939. Beginning 1970, Klemm devised based on conventional open section holes screws. Contemporary, Grosse Kempf worked make their own interlocking nails. By 1984, femur tibia accepted North-America. More recently, unreamed closed-section touted solution problem pulmonary insufficiency multiply injured patient. Future research will bring better understanding relationship biology bones mechanics.
