摘要: Consolidation is a time-dependent process that responsible for the storage of information in long-term memory. As such, it plays crucial role motor learning. Prior research suggests some consolidation processes are triggered only when learner experiences success during practice. In present study, we tested whether depend on objective performance or learner's subjective evaluation his her own (i.e., how successful believes he she is). Four groups participants performed 2 sessions visuomotor adaptation task which they had to learn new internal model limb kinematics; these were either 5 min 24 hr apart. The was identical all participants, but each group given difficult an easy affected participants' their initial practice session. All adapted movements similarly rotation visual feedback first However, retested following day, who 24-hr rest interval and initially experienced significantly better than those did not feel 5-min interval. Our results indicate certain level must be trigger processes.
