摘要: The role of Lewy bodies, neurites and α-synuclein (αSYN) in the pathophysiology diagnosis Parkinson's disease (PD) is unclear. We used postmortem human tissue, a panel antibodies (Abs) confocal microscopy to examine three-dimensional neurochemical anatomy nigrostriatal system. Abs were specific truncated (tαSYN), phosphorylated full-length αSYN. findings demonstrate critical tαSYN initiating aggregation, for other forms αSYN aggregate expansion, reason wide variety proteins present different aggregates, an explanation laminar appearance aggregates described historically using methods, existence proximal greater than distal aggregation vulnerable pathway, independent transport as cargo along axons possible sequence formation bodies. Findings differed between incidental body PD only quantitatively. These have implications understanding pathogenesis treatment PD.
