摘要: Breast reconstruction using autologous tissue has been shown to give the best results with patient reported outcomes. Perforator flaps closest ‘like for like’ match breast and are preferable other forms of reconstruction. Deep Inferior Epigastric (DIEP) provide a good volume reconstruction, acceptable scars limited donor site morbidity. Challenging technical aspects lead significant learning curve, however, DIEP have now become ‘workhorse’ flap
