摘要: The crystal structure and polymorphism of isotactic (iPP) syndioactic polypropylene (sPP) are illustrated, highlighting the rich variety phase behavior these polymers, conditions obtainment different polymorphs disorder phenomena occurring in crystals. After description concepts packing conformational case iPP sPP respectively, described. In particular, main structural features relative to monoclinc α-, trigonal β- orthorhombic γ-forms, including mesomorphic form, form which develops random copolymers propylene with pentene or hexene units, described at first, chain conformation all being 3/1 helix. Then, complex helical I II, trans-planar III, monoclininc IV, mesophases illustrated. implications final properties outlined for great fortune was almost simultaneous discovery polymerization catalyst systems elucidation.
