摘要: The results presented refer to the structure analysis of magnetorheological elastomers (MREs), based on ferromagnetic particles in a polyurethane matrix. influence volume fraction their arrangement relation external magnetic field was investigated. amount carbonyl iron particles, average size 6–9 μm, varied from 1.5 33 vol.%. Scanning electron microscopy used observe elastomer microstructures. Image has been applied describe From author’s previous studies it is known that microstructure anisotropy significant effect properties elastomers. Two different techniques image analysis: skeleton by zone method and linear covariance function were reveal particle arrangements. These methods allowed quantitative description. show changes with fraction. analyses confirm chain networks composites higher content. Differences for samples prepared under diverse conditions also clearly shown.
