摘要: An association between low levels of serum cholesterol and violent or suicidal behaviour has frequently been reported. However the role in cycle violence (Widom, 1989) not studied. The aim this study was to investigate exposure during childhood used adult suicide attempters with high levels. 81 were assessed Karolinska Interpersonal Violence Scale (KIVS) measuring expressed (between 6 14 years age) life (15 older). We median split dichotomise groups below above cholesterol. In patients median, correlation as a child significant (rho=0.52, p=0.002), while an (rho=0.25, p=0.2). Comorbid substance abuse predicted only median. Serum may modify effect "Cycle Violence".
