摘要: Parameter selection in machining operations is curial for product quality and high productivity. Process parameters such as feed, spindle speed depth of cuts are often chosen by trial-error methods. Mathematical models can be employed to predict the mechanics dynamics process. In this study, Z-mapping technique utilized simulate process step updating workpiece according given tool path where cutter engagement areas also determined. Using numerical generalized model, whole simulated any milling geometry including intricate profiling tools, serrated cutters tools with variable edge geometries.
